Team Meeting
Dear Parents,
We have taken the FAST Writing assessment and now shift our focus to the FAST PM3 for ELA and Math that will be taken at the beginning of May. We will be working diligently to review skills learned early on and move forward with skills still needed to be learned.
Thank you for the donations of glue sticks! We are in need of tissues. If you are able to donate, we would appreciate it!

4/30- Battle of the Books Finals
Academics:
Math- We will take the Chapter 10 Quiz on Monday and move on to Chapter 11. We will also review Chapter 10 in preparation for the test.
Reading- We will begin Chapter 5 by being introduced to the theme, stories, and skills.
Writing- We will finish writing our expository essay
Social Studies- We will wrap up on our newspaper about financial choices and take a quiz on Friday
Science- We will take a quiz on Lesson 2 and move on to Lesson 3, Energy Transfer
Greek: Students can practice their Greek on Kirios Kostas's website: aretis.weebly.com.

All About Me
My name is Ms. Massarsky and I will be your child’s 4th grade teacher this school year. I was born and raised in Pinellas County. I graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education. I received my Masters of Arts Degree in Reading Education in 2013. This is my thirteenth year teaching at Plato and I am very excited to be part of the Plato Academy team again!
I am a very big sports fan, as you can tell from our theme. I enjoy watching our Tampa teams and college teams UCF Knights and UF Gators. |
